PicMania

There is not much you can expect from PicMania, except for the fact that you can view images without any kind of distractions. The application is designed to be as simple as possible. It is a quick solution for looking over large numbers of photos in a folder and it that regard, it works like clockwork.

The application is free and open source. You can use it on all popular Windows platforms, on both 32 and 64-bit editions. It requires .NET Framework 3.5 to work properly, which should not be a problem, especially for modern day systems, which have it pre-installed.

PicMania comes with a compact user interface, on which you can find a few simple controls. Even novice users can master this application in a matter of moments. All you have to do is click a button and browse for a pictures folder. The contained photos will show up in a list, on the left side of the window and selected pictures will be displayed in the larger area on the right.

Besides importing entire photo folders, it is also possible to load single images, through a standard Open dialog. You can also view the application's source code, on the same window and that is about all you can do. As previously mentioned, PicMania is designed for viewing photos on the fly, without any distractions.
